Due to ill health and staffing difficulties, Cornish Gates closed in January 2004 after fifteen years of trading. However, Graham has since recovered sufficiently to start a new business – Des-iron – offering the same products and services but on a smaller scale.

We offered a complete repairs and restoration service, including cast iron and stainless steel items, with a great deal of experience in restoration work on listed buildings including church gates.
If customers had their ideas for custom designs or unusual items, we were always happy to develop and manufacture them.
The pictures below show some examples of the many items we designed, manufactured and installed over the years. Hold the mouse over a picture to read its caption, and click the picture to see a larger version.
